May happens to be one of my favourite months in Japan... next to Cherry Blossom season of course! May's days are the perfect temperature - sunny, not too hot, not too cold, and if it rains, it's still warm. Also, everyone is happy because of Golden Week! (^_^)
May 2012 also happened to be my dad's first visit to Japan, ever, and we had a ball. He tried (and loved) natto, he explored shrines and ships, and he also got to see what it was like to live in a small Japanese apartment. I wish every month was May in Japan.
